Eamon’s Song to Sera
This is the song Eamon (Sera’s father) sang to her as a child. Often called away from home for work, he sang it before he left and when he returned. It’s a father’s lullaby and love song. And a promise from father to daughter.
Verse 1:
When the stars light up the night,
dreams will take their flight,
in the moonβs garden,
weβll be together soon.
Verse 2:
And Iβll keep you safe
Forever and always
No matter how far apart
Youβre always in my heart
Chorus:
Whispers of the past,
memories that last,
in the breeze they softly sing,
of love and gentle things.

Verse 3:
When the sun begins to rise,
wipe the sleep from your eyes,
in the meadow by the stream,
weβll find our secret dream.
Bridge:
Though the road is long and far,
Iβm with you where you are,
close your eyes and feel my kiss,
in the song remember this.
Chorus:
Whispers of the past,
memories that last,
in the breeze they softly sing,
of love and gentle things.
