You have just found a new yarn shop that you’ve never visited before. The outside is enchanting: A three story Queen Anne Victorian. You are drawn inside by the sheer magical appearance.
This is the sight you are greeted with.
What is your reaction:
- Clap your hands together, jump up and down and squeal in delight?
- Turn in a slow circle with your hands out at your sides to encompass all you see?
- Make a beeline to a display of yarn and start touching and squeezing and sighing with pleasure?
You hear the magical loom in the back start up. You’ve heard rumors of a ghost. Do you:
- Run to investigate and see what our ghost has to say or show you?
- Ignore it. Busy picking out my scrumptious yarns here!
- Ghosts? Hah! No such thing silly woman. But you glance over, looking for the telltale signs of cords.
- Um. Nope. Not me. I mind my own.
You fall in love with a dreamy ball of yarn. You love it and must have it, but it is small and you wonder just what you could make with it. Maybe a hat? Or gloves? But oh, man, it would be perfect for that sweater (or baby blanket or vest etc) you’re dying to make. It’s also pretty pricey. You inquire and are are told it will finish any project you start it with. Do you:
- Believe it’s true because hey, this is an enchanted yarn shop.
- Think it is just a gimmick and put it down.
- Buy it. Price doesn’t matter.
- Say “nah, not for me”. I want regular plain yarn.
